  1. The teachers. Students love their professors at Denison and really feel like they connect with them, even outside of the classroom.
  2. Get a little culture in your life. Make sure to check out the plays at Ace Morgan Theater.
  3. If you haven't spent hours talking to your roommate on Instant Messenger, you don't know Denison life.
  4. The view from the top of the hill in the fall is breathtaking.
  5. When it's not raining, it's lovely. Hanging out on the Commons on a nice day is indescribably wonderful.
  6. Film Society shows movies every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday night.
  7. The Mitchell Center is great for a workout break from class.
  8. Every student has fond memories of walking down to Brews for dinner.
  9. The concerts in Slayter Hall.
  10. Students have 24-hour access to a computer.

Worst Things

  1. The nightlife, or lack thereof, can be disappointing.
  2. Who knew you could get this much homework?
  3. Remember how nice the hill was before winter? Walking on it when it's covered with snow is, simply put, a pain.
  4. College food redefines redundancy.
  5. The construction work is loud and distracting.
  6. The Greeks celebrate too loudly--listening to the honk of car horns all night can drive anyone crazy.
  7. Shorney and Crawford Halls don't stand up to the other on-campus living arrangements.
  8. Freshman parking--it sounds great, until they show you where your lot is.
  9. There's a certain lack of privacy created by the common showers.
  10. Playing guessing games with the weather.
